AI Future: Event Recap
On May 25, 2025, students from grades 8–12 gathered at the Post Road Library in Cumming, GA, for the very first AI Future event hosted by IMET (Innovative Minds 4 Tech). The hands-on workshop introduced participants to the world of AI, biotechnology, and medicine through interactive case studies and problem-solving activities.
Highlights included:
- 🔬 Case Studies: Students worked on mystery medical files, applying teamwork and critical thinking.
- 🎓 Certificates & STEM Toy Kits: Participants earned recognition for their new skills and took home STEM kits to continue learning.
- 🤝 Friendship & Collaboration: The event encouraged students to connect, collaborate, and solve challenges together—all while enjoying free food.
- 🧬 Epidemiology Insights: Attendees explored diseases, medicine, and healthcare issues with background readings to deepen understanding.
The event was a fun, educational success, bringing young innovators together to explore how AI can shape the future of healthcare.
